As the name states, these heaters use propane to fuel live flames and warm up both indoor and outdoor areas. They are safe to use around children and pets but there are safety tips that you should learn before operating.
7. Natural Gas Heaters- Natural gas heaters are similar to that of propane but it is a more cost-efficient option of heating your home in case of a winter emergency. Natural gas heaters come in both portable and stand-alone options. Natural gas is also safer than propane because it burns at lower temperatures, and is not at risk of exploding.
8. Generators- When it comes to heating your home during a power outage, no option is better than a generator. You can not only keep your family warm, you can also power lights, appliances, and medical devices. Gas powered generators are powerful and reliable. Be sure to have fresh fuel available, and be sure to have your generator maintained properly.
